Every FireProtect 2 AC detector offers dual notification capabilities for fire alarms: primary and fallback. When a fire hazard is detected, the initiating detector transmits an alarm signal to the hub. The hub then triggers the primary interconnect, activating the built-in sirens on all detectors within 20 seconds—three times faster than standard fire protocols. Critical information, including the initiating detector’s location, alarm type, and precise time, is instantly accessible via Ajax apps. If communication with the hub is unavailable, the initiating detector automatically engages the fallback interconnect, directly transmitting the alarm to other detectors. This process ensures alarm activation within just 1 minute.
